Investigating Employee Complaints webinar (recorded)
Overview
Speaker: David Reed
From fraud to member complaints and potential discrimination to harassment and unemployment claims, there are numerous instances where an airtight internal investigation is the key to an effective resolution. However, conducting a fair and thorough investigation is more complex than it seems, and a poorly performed investigation can worsen matters. To have an acceptable result, the investigator must gather all the relevant facts, interview potential witnesses, come to logical conclusions about the violation of law or policy, and issue a carefully crafted written report that meets all the credit union's needs. This session presents the essential elements of conducting effective internal investigations.
