All credit union-supported candidates win their races in nation's final primaries
The Delaware, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island primary elections brought wins for all credit union-backed candidates Tuesday.
There were six candidates supported by the America’s Credit Unions PAC and the Cooperative Credit Union Association, including:
- Rep. Lisa Blunt Rochester, D, Del., in her successful bid in the Senate Democratic primary to fill the seat of retiring Sen. Tom Carper, D; and
- State Sen. Sarah McBride in the Democratic primary to fill the House seat left open by Blunt Rochester.
These were the final primaries of the 2024 cycle, with credit union supporters winning 326 of 329 races. Complete state-by-state results are available on the Credit Union Elections Hub.
America’s Credit Unions PAC and the Leagues are now shifting focus toward the November elections, with additional support for credit union champions to be announced.
