The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) is now accepting nominations for membership to the Bank Secrecy Act Advisory Group (BSAAG). Nominations must be received by Jan. 6, 2025, and must be emailed to BSAAG@fincen.gov.

The BSAAG provides advice to the U.S. Treasury on the reporting requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA). It’s tasked with informing private sector representatives on how information they provide is used.

Membership is open to credit unions and other financial institutions subject to the BSA along with trade groups with members subject to the BSA, and federal and non-federal regulators and law enforcement agencies located within the U.S. Members will be selected to serve a three-year term.
