The redesign simplified key journeys, modernized the visual experience, and strengthened search, SEO, and financial tools to better align with how members research and make financial decisions. As a result, engagement increased 12%, organic search visits grew 29%, and funded applications rose 35%.
Separating the Local Change Foundation into a dedicated site further reinforced trust and clarified each brand’s purpose. By focusing on clarity, accessibility, and intuitive navigation, the website delivers a modern digital presence that reflects Azura’s community-first brand while supporting growth.
The results demonstrate the effectiveness of this approach: clicks increased by 63.3%, first visits rose 13.5%, total users grew 8.96%, new users increased 13.49%, and average engagement time per session improved by 5.56%. These outcomes reinforced the value of pairing a strong content strategy with user-centered design.

The redesign centered on three goals: growing loans and deposits, telling our story, and simplifying navigation.
Bold colors reflect our values of optimism, collaboration, authenticity, and innovation. Interactive product pages now feature guided selling tools and calculators to help visitors make informed decisions, and the launch introduced online account opening for prospects. Dual homepage functionality personalizes messaging for members and prospects while enhancing analytics, and a robust “Our Story” page highlights our mission, values, and impact. Intuitive navigation ensures quick access to essential actions like applying for loans, paying online, or finding ATMs.
Built on flexible WordPress templates, the site empowers our team to update content seamlessly and strengthens our commitment to improving members’ financial well-being.

NIH Federal Credit Union needed a website with a WOW factor that seamlessly integrated our many digital tools and resources. During the redesign, we learned how to better organize our content; optimize pages for conversion; and bring a coherent look, feel, and tone to pages across the site. The SECU MD Foundation’s website redesign was rooted in a people-first approach. We sought to improve user experience, establish a thoughtful yet fun brand identity and ensure information related to our scholarships, grants and financial education programs were accessible and clearly mapped out for site visitors – whether their first or fortieth introduction to the SECU MD Foundation.
By including fresh infographics, new and clean photography from actual SECU events and programs, as well as clear calls to action, site visitors can now navigate the site intentionally and easily.
Since the project completion and relaunch of the newly designed website, we have seen an over 37% increase in average daily traffic and a 35.1% increase in year-over-year annual views.
One of the core goals of our website redesign initiative was to improve the functionality of our website for both users and site administrators. Our previous site often featured clunky or unclear navigation, making it difficult to feature certain pages or provide relevant resources to site visitors based on their page visits or interests.
With our new site, directing visitors to related pages or providing article recommendations has become seamless, and both navigation and site administration have become greatly streamlined—while also offering us more analytical data than ever before. With user engagement up site-wide, this initiative has exceeded our expectations, and we're very proud of the web experience we've built for our visitors.
