Important note: It is possible to attend two events in one trip. For example, any of these three options allows you to recertify in a single trip, as long as you complete both steps within the selected option.    

• Option 1 – Two events offered at the same location in early December each year by America’s Credit Unions: 
  • Attend the CCUIA recertification pre-conference workshop at Supervisory Committee & Internal Audit Conference (counts as 1 event); AND  
  • Attend the Supervisory Committee & Internal Audit Conference (counts as 1 event) that follows CCUIA recertification pre-conference.  
• Option 2 – Two events offered at the same location in late June each year by ACUARP (Association of Audit and Risk Professionals):  
  •  Attend the CCUIA recertification one-day workshop (counts as 1 event) at ACUARP’s Annual Insight Summit Conference; AND  
  • Attend ACUARP’s Insight Summit (counts as 1 event) that follows the CCUIA recertification one-day workshop.  
• Option 3 – Two events in one by simply attending the school again. The school is offered each spring and fall.    
  • Attend the Internal Audit Certification School again to recertify without needing to retake the exam when recertifying.
  • Attending the school again counts for two events in one due to the duration and level of content covered.
