Advocating for continued credit union innovation

Engaging with the NCUA on what credit unions need for continued innovation, America’s Credit Unions Regulatory Advocacy Senior Counsel Luke Martone was a participant in the agency’s Strategic Plan Town Hall on Tuesday. The webinar focused on the NCUA’s Strategic Plan and upcoming priorities, with stakeholder input and questions.

Martone shared specific suggestions on ways the NCUA can help credit unions as they work with third-party service providers to adopt technology solutions.

He also reiterated that NCUA should consider adding an additional goal to its Strategic Plan focused on supporting credit union innovation and positioning the industry into the future. That was one of many suggestions sent to the NCUA in August by Martone in response to the agency’s request for input on strategic plan and budget.
