Credit unions champion state-level policy priorities at NCSL

Credit union advocates from around the country gathered to advance credit union policies at the state level during the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) summit in Boston last week. Twenty-five league, AACUL, and America’s Credit Unions representatives took part, sharing insights via panels, booths, and meetings with over 3,600 state lawmakers and legislative staff members on hand. The conference provides insights into pending state legislative issues, and opportunities to promote legislation positive for credit unions and oppose issues that would be harmful.

America's Credit Unions helped spread the credit union message in the exhibit hall, at the Fun Run 5k Race, and during main stage and breakout panel sessions. Notable issues raised in breakout sessions include the future of crypto, artificial intelligence, and banking policy recommendations.
