Credit unions find a way to say yes when others say no

The credit union difference is often most evident in the personal care and extreme member service provided to each member. While other financial institutions say no when a customer asks for help, credit unions look for a way to say yes.

It’s no surprise that 89% of credit union members say their credit union has improved their financial well-being.

In a video shared directly with lawmakers, Mazuma Credit Union Vice President of Government Affairs and Member Experience Laura Eblen tells the story of a time when her credit union provided a personal loan to a member who was on the brink of losing their home. The credit union listened to the member’s story and developed a personalized plan of action, offering a loan that helped keep the member in her home and preserve it as an avenue of generational wealth for her family.
