NCUA to hold December board meeting

The NCUA Board will meet Thursday, Dec. 18, at 10 a.m. Eastern. Board meetings are streamed live on the agency's website.

Items on the agenda include a briefing on the 2026–2027 budget and the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund.

NCUA is proposing a 20.6% reduction from the approved 2025 budget to the draft 2026 budget. America’s Credit Unions Chief Economist Curt Long testified at the agency’s draft budget public briefing in November and provided several recommendations.
