NCUA launches AI resource webpage

Facing rapidly developing innovations in Artificial Intelligence (AI), credit unions have a new resource to help. The NCUA’s newly launched webpage provides AI-related resources to assist  credit unions as they adopt AI technology while also evaluating AI-related challenges.

Resources include AI-specific risk management considerations to help credit unions make informed decisions when implementing AI or partnering with AI service providers. They address key areas including:

  • AI implementation;
  • Risk management;
  • Data security;
  • Use cases; and
  • Cybersecurity risks.

Whether a credit union is beginning to explore AI solutions or seeks to enhance existing AI risk management practices, the AI resources page offers a variety of information and resources.
