Premier America welcomes Rep. Rivas to campus branch

Working with America’s Credit Unions and California’s Credit Unions to directly engage with policymakers, Premier America Credit Union welcomed Rep. Luz Rivas, D-Calif., to its branch on the California State University, Northridge (CSUN) campus. Advocates shared the credit union difference and Premier America’s impact on the campus community and its field of membership in the San Fernando Valley. They outlined plans to expand their service to campus in the coming year, including two new ATMs.

Attendees also discussed California’s Credit Unions and Nevada’s Credit Unions’ support for Cal State’s DC Scholars program, which includes a $1 million endowment announced in November. Rivas shared that two CSUN students will serve as interns in her D.C. office through the program next semester.
