Small Credit Union Roundtable highlights community impact

Attendees from across the country met and heard from three peer panels during the Small Credit Union Roundtable on Sunday the 2026 Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC). The roundtable featured an environment of open dialogue about business operations and unique solutions that are specific to the small credit union movement. 

America’s Credit Unions President/CEO Scott Simpson expressed his support for small credit unions and welcomed them to the GAC, detailing the organization’s commitment to achieving “the most efficient listening possible” to the unique concerns small credit unions have when it comes to advocacy priorities. 

Many stories shared highlighted the shared coordination between small credit unions that often look to each other when a problem or question arises.
