This week: America’s Credit Unions supports CU-backed candidates in AZ, TN primaries
This week, America’s Credit Unions continues to engage with the Senate, keeping credit unions top-of-mind, while the House has returned to their districts for the August recess.
America’s Credit Unions is supporting three candidates in the Arizona primaries tomorrow and six candidates in the Tennessee primaries taking place Thursday. Of note, America’s Credit Unions PAC and GoWest Credit Union Association have supported Ruben Gallego in his bid for the high-profile open Senate seat in Arizona. America’s Credit Unions’ Credit Union Elections Hub continues to track election results from the primaries through the general election.
Also happening this week:
- Tomorrow, the Senate Banking Economic Policy Subcommittee will discuss noncompete agreements;
- Tomorrow, the Federal Open Market Committee will begin its two-day July monetary policy meeting;
- Wednesday, the Senate Banking Committee will review economic benefits from federal infrastructure and public transportation investment; and
- Thursday, comments on the CFPB’s buy now, pay later interpretative rule are due.
