This week: Congress continues to debate DHS funding, deadline for credit union feedback on proposals

Congress is in recess, with the House and Senate having passed different bills to fund the Department of Homeland Security, but work to advance credit union priorities continues.

Today, feedback on the NCUA’s GENIUS Act proposal is due to America’s Credit Unions. In addition, comments are due to the NCUA on its fourth round of deregulation proposals tomorrow.  

America’s Credit Unions is also hosting a member-only webinar to provide industry updates on the possibility of Congress passing another budget reconciliation bill to address funding priorities.
