America’s Credit Unions PAC and the Mississippi Credit Union Association were involved in five primaries in Mississippi Tuesday, with all credit union-backed candidates winning their races. These include Sen. Roger Wicker, R, and Reps. Trent Kelly, R, Bennie Thompson, D, Michael Guest, R, and Mike Ezell, R.
In California, America’s Credit Unions PAC and California Credit Union League-backed Rep. David Valadao, R-Calif., advanced in last week’s Super Tuesday primary, he will face Democrat challenger Rudy Salas in November.
Also in California, credit union-supported Vince Fong, R, advances to the November election for the seat held by former Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy. Fong is also a candidate in the March 19 special election to fill out the rest of McCarthy’s term.
