The NCUA Monday released its 2023 annual report to underscore its initiatives and accomplishments from last year.

In its press release, the agency noted the report highlights initiatives related to cyber resiliency, economic headwinds, financial security and economic equity, and investment in agency employees. The report details the agency’s final rules on member expulsion and charitable donation accounts, as well as proposed rules to update field of membership and trust accounts. The NCUA has also proposed changes to its Minority Depository Institution Perseveration Program.

“Among its other accomplishments in 2023, the NCUA developed new tools and dashboards to monitor and mitigate risks to the credit union system, fortified the Share Insurance Fund’s defenses, deployed updated Information Security Examination procedures, and issued three new federal credit union charters,” the NCUA wrote in its press release.
