The NCUA’s Office of Financial Technology and Access announced office hours where credit union representatives, financial technology companies, and credit union associations can schedule time to speak about financial technology with representatives from the agency’s fintech and credit union programs.
The NCUA notes that potential topic areas of discussion may include, but are not limited to:
- Questions related to emerging technology in credit unions;
- Fintech inquiries from credit unions, financial inclusion through technology inquiries; and
- General questions or points of discussion related to barriers experienced by credit unions and fintech companies when interacting with one another.
Stakeholders can submit a request to speak with the team by emailing fintechmail@ncua.gov with their organization’s name and the desired topic of discussion included in the request. Submission requests for 2024 office hours will open 60 days prior to the upcoming hours occurring Aug. 20-22 and Nov. 12-14.
