This week: America’s Credit Unions monitors funding, primary elections, more

This week, America’s Credit Unions hosts three events: Marketing & Business Development Council Conference in Las Vegas, Nev., Internal Audit Certification School with ACUARP in Tempe, Ariz., and Regulatory Compliance School in Arlington, Va. In addition, the organization will monitor tomorrow’s primary elections in Illinois and Ohio.

America’s Credit Unions PAC is supporting 24 candidates across the 13 primary elections in Illinois and 11 primary elections in Ohio. In Illinois, America’s Credit Unions and the Illinois Credit Union League have partnered to support credit union champion Rep. Mike Bost in the Republican primary via ads targeting credit union members. The organization will keep credit unions informed of relevant results; credit union members can learn where and how to vote at CreditUnionsVote.com.

On Capitol Hill, although President Joe Biden signed a major government funding package into law March 9, the deadline for the remaining six appropriations bills is Friday. America’s Credit Unions will monitor lawmakers’ movement on funding, as well as several hearings of note, including:
