AI, CLF to be discussed at NCUA Board meeting

A board briefing on AI, the central liquidity facility (CLF), and an ombudsman overview and update are on the agenda for the July 24 NCUA Board meeting.  

Sole board member Chairman Kyle Hauptman will conduct the meeting, only the second meeting since former board members Todd Harper and Tanya Otsuka were dismissed.  

America’s Credit Unions will monitor the meeting and continue to keep credit union members up to date on agency news.

Of note, the tentative schedule for NCUA open board meetings for the remainder of 2025 is: 

• Sept. 18;
• Oct. 23;
• Nov. 20; and
• Dec. 18. 

The agency does not traditionally conduct a board meeting in August.
