New Economic Update reveals ‘cautiously optimistic’ economic outlook

What’s ahead in the fourth quarter for credit unions? The updated America’s Credit Unions Economic Credit Union Forecast and this month’s edition of the Economic Update provide some answers with an in-depth outlook and the anticipated influence on credit union operations in the months ahead.

“We’re seeing slightly better economic growth prospects than we projected last quarter,” says Dawit Kebede, America’s Credit Unions’ senior economist. “However, significant risks remain on the horizon, and growth will stay modest and below the economy's full potential.”
