Help shape the future of the Marketing, PR & Development Council

The Marketing, PR & Development Council Executive Committee plays a key leadership and advisory role in shaping the direction of the Council, guiding strategic priorities and supporting the delivery of meaningful member benefits and experiences. Members of the Executive Committee also lead and participate in sub-committees, working collaboratively with America's Credit Unions and other Council volunteers to plan events, develop resources, and strengthen engagement across the Council community.

By serving on the Executive Committee, you play an active role in advancing not only the mission of the Councils, but also the credit union movement. Your leadership helps shape the future of the industry by fostering collaboration, sharing knowledge, and creating opportunities for professional growth and innovation. Together, the Councils serve as the go-to source for strategic leadership, professional development, and meaningful collaboration—amplifying the voice and impact of credit union professionals everywhere. If you're passionate about making a difference and supporting your peers, we encourage you to submit your nomination.

  • A letter of interest outlining your motivation for serving on the Executive Committee, how you would contribute to the Council, and your experience within marketing, public relations, or business development. Include any prior involvement with the Council or volunteer service that reflects your connection to and passion for this community. • A current resume
  • A high-resolution headshot
  • A 100–150-word campaign statement highlighting your relevant experience in marketing, public relations, or business development, and sharing your “why” for serving and the value you would bring to the Council and the broader credit union community. Submit materials to Josh Wilson, Chair of the Nominations Committee, at jwilson@whitefishcu.com, with a copy to hwilburn@americascreditunions.org.

The Nominating Committee will evaluate submissions and present recommended candidates to the membership for democratic election. The committee will work to present a slate that exceeds the number of vacancies and reflects geographic and professional balance across the Council.

The election will be conducted electronically in February. New members will take their executive committee seats at the conclusion of the Marketing, PR & Development Council Annual Conference, to be held March 22-25, 2026, in Aurora, CO.
