Utilizing storytelling to amplify the credit union difference
Best-selling author and opening keynote speaker Kindra Hall helped get things started at the Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC) 2026, sharing how credit union advocates can build a lasting impact by sharing their stories on Capitol Hill.
Hall broke down the elements of a good story, outlined why storytelling works so well, and shared foolproof strategies for successful storytelling. She emphasized the importance of sharing how to find the right story that illustrates the right message for the right person. She urged attendees to put the credit union advocacy priorities in action by telling stories that include emotion—not just data and information.
GAC continues through Wednesday. Stay tuned to our Daily News and follow along on social for highlights of the industry’s largest advocacy event.
