This week: Senate in session, elections occur in two states

The House is back in district this week, while the Senate remains in Washington, D.C. Engaging with lawmakers on credit union priorities, America’s Credit Unions’ advocacy team will build on the momentum generated by credit union advocates’ Hill meetings last week.

Mississippi and Georgia hold the next round of state races tomorrow. In Georgia’s 14th Congressional District special election, America’s Credit Unions PAC is backing Clay Fuller in a race to fill the vacancy created when Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene resigned. In Mississippi, America’s Credit Unions PAC backed five candidates up for re-election.   • Today, comments are due to the Federal Reserve in response to its request for comment on potential strategies for the future of the Reserve Banks' check services; and
