Ga. special election win latest for credit union-supported candidates
America’s Credit Unions PAC’s strong record in special elections continued Tuesday in Georgia, securing the latest victory in all six races it has contested to date. Businessman Clay Fuller, R, was elected in a special runoff election to Georgia’s 14th Congressional District. He will fill the open seat previously held by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R.
Earlier special election wins took place in Virginia, Arizona, Tennessee, and two Florida districts. The next special election on April 16 includes America’s Credit Unions PAC-backed candidate Analilia Mejia, D, in New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District race. The House seat was vacated when former Rep. Mikie Sherrill, D, was elected as New Jersey’s governor.
