Today: Primaries in Oklahoma, D.C., runoffs in Alabama, Georgia
Credit unions are supporting six candidates in primary and runoff elections today. Oklahoma and Washington, D.C., host their primaries today, while runoffs will be held in Alabama and Georgia.
America’s Credit Unions PAC is supporting two candidates vying for open seats:
- In the Alabama Senate seat left open by Sen. Tommy Tuberville who is running for governor, credit unions are supporting Rep. Barry Moore, R, in the Republican primary runoff;
- In Georgia’s 11th Congressional District seat left open by retiring Rep. Barry Loudermilk, R, credit unions are supporting Rob Adkerson, Loudermilk’s former chief of staff, in the runoff.
