Credit union-backed candidates win in Alabama, Oklahoma

In elections across three states Tuesday, five Congressional candidates backed by America’s Credit Unions PAC advanced to November’s election. This includes Rep. Barry Moore, R, winning the Republican Senate primary in Alabama, where he seeks to replace current Sen. Tommy Tuberville, the state’s Republican nominee for governor.

“Electing a pro-credit union Congress is critical to the credit union movement and is the central mission of America’s Credit Unions PAC. With this additional group of champions advancing, our success is a testament to the strength of credit unions,” said America’s Credit Unions Head of Political Affairs Trey Hawkins. “Credit unions continue to showcase the power of cooperative finance in districts across the country. America’s Credit Unions PAC is committed to ensuring elected officials recognize and understand the credit union difference.”
