Access Compliance Blog for need-to-know compliance updates
Credit unions can now access the America’s Credit Unions Compliance Blog where new posts are published every Tuesday and Thursday. The blog provides critical information on all things related to compliance: from a breakdown of complex or technical requirements to analysis of recent agency guidance or legal developments.
“America’s Credit Unions carries forward many of the things that your credit unions loved about our legacy organizations – including proactive regulatory compliance information, services, and assistance,” wrote the Compliance Team in its introductory post. Credit unions can reach the Compliance Team by emailing compliance@americascreditunions.org.
In addition to the Compliance Blog, the team will announce new compliance publications in the coming months to empower credit unions with knowledge needed to succeed.
Here’s a roundup of the first two blog posts:
Breaking Down the New BOI Access Rule: Nick St. John tackles the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network’s recent final rule related to credit unions’ ability to access information reported under the Corporate Transparency Act.
NCUA and Other Agencies Update the Uniform Rules of Practice and Procedure: Patricia O’Connell dives into recent updates to the Uniform Rules of Practice and Procedure made by the NCUA, Federal Reserve, and FDIC.
