Congress returns this week for the final three weeks of session before the end-of-year recess. Priority by year end is to pass a government-funding bill before the Dec. 20 deadline as well as the National Defense Authorization Act.

There are two remaining regulatory comment deadlines before the end of the year:

• Comments on operational aspects of the Federal Reserve’s discount window are due Dec. 9.
• Comments on Nacha’s proposal to add a fourth daily Same Day ACH processing window are due Dec. 13.

The American Association of Credit Union Leagues hosts its Winter Conference in Miami Tuesday through Friday, where League and America’s Credit Unions leaders will gather with a theme of “comprehensive collaboration.”
