This week: In-district advocacy advances credit union priorities
Credit unions are encouraged to build on our advocacy moment by connecting with lawmakers during the August recess period, either at local offices or by inviting them to credit union offices or branches. Resources to assist with meetings—including a new in-district meeting checklist—are available for America’s Credit Unions members.
Members can also share information about successful in-district meetings through a form on the page, allowing America’s Credit Unions to amplify this important work on a national stage.
Happening this week:
-
Today, comments are due to America’s Credit Unions regarding the NCUA’s request for a three-year extension for the Form 5300 Call Report with revised instructions; and
Friday, comments are due to America’s Credit Unions regarding the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s request for information on buy-now, pay-later unsecured debt.
