Weigh in on outdated, unnecessary, or burdensome NCUA regulations
Members are urged to provide feedback on regulations that are outdated, unnecessary, or unduly burdensome with a new America’s Credit Unions Regulatory Comment Alert addressing the NCUA’s request for comment (RFC).
The Regulatory Comment Alert breaks down the RFC. It seeks input on regulations related to agency programs, capital, and consumer protection. Submitting credit union feedback will help America’s Credit Unions better outline credit unions’ primary concerns and issues to the agency.
The NCUA's RFC is part of a regulatory review under the Economic Growth and Regulatory Paperwork Reduction Act (EGRPRA). This is the second of four RFCs issued as part of the agency’s EGRPRA review. America’s Credit Unions commented on the first section of the review in 2024.
Comments are due to America’s Credit Unions Sept. 17; comments are due to the NCUA Oct. 8.
