Administration issues new RFI on AI
The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy has issued a second request for information (RFI) on the administration’s artificial intelligence (AI) action plan, this time seeking feedback on regulatory reforms that would promote AI innovation.
America’s Credit Unions submitted comments in response to the initial RFI in March. The White House unveiled its AI action plan in July, which identifies ways to address removing barriers for American leadership in AI.
The plan identifies over 90 federal policy actions the administration plans to take in the coming weeks and months. The actions focus on three pillars: accelerating innovation, building American AI infrastructure, and leading in international diplomacy and security.
America’s Credit Unions plans to respond to the second RFI and continues to ensure the industry has a seat at the table when important decisions regarding AI are made, especially when it comes to protecting credit unions and members from AI-related fraud.
