Building on PAC, NAF fundraising success

Credit unions’ commitment to advocacy helped raise $2.6 million for the America’s Credit Unions PAC in 2025. A record-breaking $4.3 million was also raised for the National Advocacy Fund (NAF), with the bulk of that money supporting industry-wide efforts to preserve credit unions’ not-for-profit tax status through the Don’t Tax My Credit Union campaign.

As the 2026 election season gets underway, both NAF and the America’s Credit Unions PAC are preparing for aggressive engagement. This includes a planned $7 million+ combined spend to both elect and re-elect credit union champions in the midterm elections.

Every dollar, every conversation, and every effort matters as the industry works to ensure a pro-credit union majority that understands credit unions’ unique structure and mission-driven work and protects credit unions’ ability to serve their 145 million members and communities.
