Open-end loan advertising can feel like navigating rough regulatory waters. This session helps you steer confidently through the requirements of Truth in Lending/Regulation Z and the Fair Housing Act. We’ll also spotlight potential fair lending and UDAAP hazards that could pull your marketing off course.

Closed-end loan advertising follows a different map entirely. In this session, we will guide you through Truth in Lending/Regulation Z requirements and Fair Housing Act rules for dwelling-related loan promotions and other closed-end loan products. We’ll also discuss how to avoid compliance detours tied to fair lending and UDAAP risks.

Thursday, June 25, 2026 | 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.
Even the best marketing strategy needs a reliable compass. In this final session, we’ll explore how to stay oriented in an evolving landscape of social media, digital content, and disclosure requirements. We’ll discuss social media traps and UDAAP risk-based decisions, and address a few marketing/advertising issues unrelated to shares and loans.
This session will help you:
- Reinforce key compliance principles for consistent direction.
- Navigate lotteries/promotions, trademarks, registered marks, and prescreened credit offers.
- Identify additional UDAAP, social media, electronic advertising, and website issues.

All cancellations must be received in writing. Please provide a brief explanation for the cancellation and submit via email to hello@americascreditunions.org. Cancellations received more than 7 days prior to the event are subject to a 25% administrative fee on the order total. No refunds will be granted for cancellations received on or after 7 days prior to the event. Substitutions are accepted prior to the start of the program. Additional costs may apply. Once a purchase is completed, it is considered final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for these products unless they are defective or not as described.
