Explore the election’s impact on credit union advocacy at Nov. 7 webinar
What will the Nov. 5 election results mean for credit unions to close out 2024 and beyond? In a post-election webinar scheduled for Nov. 7, hear election results analysis and what credit unions can expect both in the lame duck session and the 119th Congress. The America’s Credit Unions’ advocacy team is hosting the free, members-only webinar, starting at 2 p.m. Eastern.
Chief Advocacy Officer Carrie Hunt will lead a discussion exploring:
- What the results mean for the remainder of the 118th Congress, as it faces must-pass year-end bills to fund the government and military.
- Power dynamics at play in 2025; and
- How America’s Credit Unions, Leagues, and credit unions can work to advance their advocacy agenda.
There will also be time for the team to answer attendee questions.
America’s Credit Unions, its PAC and Leagues are investing more than $7 million in the 2024 election cycle in support of credit union champions in the form of independent expenditures, member communications, and campaign contributions. The primaries saw credit union supporters win at a 99% rate, and 392 candidates are being supported on the Nov. 5 ballot.
